In 2016, when eating dinner one evening in the dining room amongst stacks of oil filters, volumes of engine oil and a mountain of spark plugs, Mrs CSP finally lost it. She wanted her house back as a home and not a stock room.

2018 and Car Service Packs kept moving from strength to strength. Keeping with our philosophy of offering high quality oils and filters we were delighted to announce that we would be stocking the full range of gear and transmission oils from Red Line Oil. Red Line Oil have a world wide reputation for producing some of the best gear oils in the world.

We also increased the number of car shows that we attended and again returned to Silverstone to support the MG Live show

2019 and our mission was to add a high quality filter supplier to our portfolio. Who better than MANN Filters? MANN Filters are known for being the first fit filter to a large number of cars and the quality of the filters exceeds OE specification so you know you are getting a great product and fantastic service.

Again CSP increased the number of shows that we attended and this year saw us travel all the way to Knockhill to support the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship

How can we summarise 2020 in few paragraphs?

We knew that 2020 would be bring some challenges when it started as we knew Brexit was coming but we thought we had it under control. The majority of our suppliers are based in the EU so we knew we had some work to do.

What we did not plan on was COVID-19. Initially our sales went through the roof and that brings its own challenges keeping up with getting items in stock and sending the items out via our couriers.

In June we moved into a larger warehouse, based in Sherburn in Elmet to cope with the demand and we have to thank all of our friends and family who helped with the move. Getting everything moved and sorted in a weekend so that we were ready to send out orders on Monday morning was stressful, but again we managed it.

Our product lines continued to grow during 2020, we now have nearly 100 different engine oils in stock, with similar numbers for gear oils. I am too scared to count how many different filters we now stock!!!

2020 also saw us form a partnership with ITG Filters, which we now stock. We sold one on the very first day that they were in stock, so we even fitted it for the customer.

COVID-19 continued throughout the year and Trackdays, Race Days and test days all seemed to suffer but we continued to grow our product lines and introduced service kits for more and more performance cars that only see the road.

In summary, 2020 was an incredibly challenging year but Car Service Packs are still growing from strength to strength.
